Returns, Damages, Changes, and Cancellations

Return Policy - Furniture

We hope that you are happy with your new furniture. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return any unused item within 30 days of receipt. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging, so we recommend that you keep all packaging materials if you are thinking about returning an item.

Please contact us at 702-659-9496 or Butler@TheStatedHome.com for return instructions and a return authorization number (RA#). You will not be charged for the return shipping cost for items with an RA#. If you return an item without an RA#, you will be charged for the return shipping cost. Our Standard Refund and Restocking Fee Policies will apply to all returned items.

If you refuse delivery of an item, you will not be charged for the return shipping cost; however, our Standard Refund and Restocking Fee Policies will apply.

Please measure carefully before placing your order, taking into consideration how the piece will get into your home (e.g., doorway width, tight stairwell turns). If your item does not fit when it gets there, we will take it back without a charge for the return shipping cost. However, our Standard Refund and Restocking Fee Policies will apply.

Furniture Standard Refund and Restocking Fee Policies

Your refund will be processed 1-2 weeks after receipt of the returned item. Refunds are made in the same form as your original payment, less a restocking fee of 20%. This restocking fee may be credited to your purchase of a replacement item, subject to certain restrictions. See our Replacement Item Credit Policy.

Furniture Replacement Item Credit Policy

If you purchase a replacement item of the same type (e.g., sofa, chair, table) within 30 days of our receipt of the returned item, the 20% restocking fee may be credited to the cost of the replacement piece. Our policy allowing credit of the restocking fee to a replacement item may be used only on the first replacement for a returned item. If you also return the replacement item, it will be subject to a non-creditable 20% restocking fee.

Furniture Changes Policy

Generally, we will forward your order to the manufacturer within 48 hours of your placing the order with The Stated Home™. If you decide to change your order after 48 hours, please be aware that the manufacturer may charge a fee to do so. We do not guarantee that you will be able to change your order. Once an item has started production by the manufacturer, no changes can be made. Any additional cost is payable at the time of the change.

Furniture Cancellations Policy

If you cancel your order after 48 hours, our standard restocking fee will apply, and will be subtracted from the amount of the refund. Refunds for cancelled orders will be processed within 1-2 weeks of the cancellation date. Refunds are made in the same form as your original payment.

If your order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. However, you can refuse to accept it upon delivery, and it will be sent back, subject to our Standard Refund and Restocking Fee Policies.

Furniture Errors

If your furniture should be other than what you ordered, please contact us immediately. We will arrange to have it replaced as soon as possible. The Stated Home™ reserves the right to decide how and when to arrange for the return of the incorrect item. Please keep all original packaging materials. If, in this situation, you decide to cancel your order, our Standard Refund and Restocking Fee Policies will apply.

Furiture Damage

Though we do our best to ship items as carefully as possible, accidents sometimes happen.

Please carefully inspect your order upon delivery, preferably while the freight company is still there. If there is any damage, call us immediately at 888-963-9157. If you are unable to reach us, you may refuse to accept delivery, or you may accept delivery but note the damage to the item on the bill of lading before you sign for the delivery. If the packaging materials are damaged, please note that as well. If you accept delivery, it is important that you keep all packaging materials.

If you find damage after you have accepted delivery, contact us within 7 days of delivery.  Please take photos of the damage to the item and any damaged packaging materials. Keep all packaging materials, as they will be required if the item is returned.

The Stated Home® reserves the right to repair or replace any damaged item for which you have accepted delivery, as it deems appropriate. Please do not return the item without our instructions and an RA#.

Return Policy - Non-furniture Items

You may return any unused non-furniture items within 365 days of purchase. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging, so we recommend that you keep all packaging materials if you are thinking about returning an item.

If you are exchanging a non-furniture item for a similar item, or wish to apply the refund amount to a new purchase, you will not be charged for return shipping costs.  However, if you are cancelling your order and requesting a refund, return shipping costs will be subtracted from the amount of the refund.

Please contact us for return instructions and a return authorization number (RA#). We cannot accept returns without an RA#.
