We have many other styles you can choose from that are not featured on our website and would love to help you find exactly what you’re looking for. Please contact us with some more information and we’ll see what we can find!

There is an image of a piece of furniture on your site but it’s in a fabric or configuration you don’t offer. Is it possible to order it as shown?

Yes (most of the time). Sometimes we showcase our pieces with multiple fabric applications or unique details. We can order with these options through a special order. The only time this won’t be possible would be if a fabric shown is discontinued. Please contact us to place a special order.

I saw something on the Lee Industries website, but don’t see it on The Stated Home. Can I order it through you?

A

Yes! We can order anything that you see on LeeIndustries.com.

Do your products ever go on sale?

A

No. We set our prices as low as possible every day so you don’t have to worry about waiting for the next “sale”. It is common for furniture stores to inflate their prices artificially so they can always be having a sale. We don’t think that’s an honest way to do business, so we don’t do it.

I don’t love any of the fabrics – are there more options?

A

Yes! We selected our favorites to showcase on our website, but have hundreds more to choose from and would love to help you find exactly what you’re looking for. Please contact us and we’ll see what we can find!

Yes! We know that furnishing a home can be overwhelming and we love to help. All of our customer service consultants are trained in furniture construction, features, and design so they can offer expert advice on what pieces are best for your taste and lifestyle. Can I cancel my order?

A

Orders can be cancelled within the first 48 hours after placing an order. Any cancellations after that will be subject to our standard refund and restocking fees.

Why does it take so long to get my furniture?

Can I make changes to my order?

You may make a change within 48 hours of placing your order. Please contact us at 702-659-9496 if you wish to make a change.

Can I order furniture in a custom size?

A

Since we work directly with our manufacturers, most of our pieces can be ordered in custom sizes, even upholstery. Please contact us with specifics and we can get you a quote.

How long do I have to wait for my new furniture?

A

We estimate 8 to 12 weeks. Your furniture is made to order, which takes 6 to 8 weeks, and then delivery is another 2 to 4 weeks on top of that. As with anything, there might be unforeseen issues like backordered fabric or busier than normal manufacturers that could increase this time. We will make sure to keep you updated on any scheduling issues as soon as we know about them.

What is your return policy for non-furniture items?

A

Non-furniture items can be returned within one (1) year of the original purchase date in their original condition. See our Return Policy for more information.

I placed an order for a piece of upholstered furniture without first ordering a fabric sample. Now I’m concerned that the color on the website may not be exact. What can I do?

A

If you didn’t order a fabric sample, we still automatically send you a swatch of your chosen fabric for approval before we forward your order to the manufacturer. You should receive the swatch within a few days of placing your order.

Can I return furniture if I don’t like it?

A

We hope that you are happy with your new furniture. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return any unused item within 30 days of receipt. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging, so we recommend that you keep all packing materials if you are thinking about returning an item.

Please contact us for return instructions and a return authorization number (RA#). You will not be charged for the return shipping cost for items with an RA#. If you return an item without an RA#, you will be charged for the return shipping cost. Our Standard Refund and Restocking Fee Policies will apply to all returned items.

If you refuse delivery of an item, you will not be charged for the return shipping cost; however, our Standard Refund and Restocking Fee Policies will apply.

Please measure carefully before placing your order, taking into consideration how the piece will get into your home (e.g., doorway width, tight stairwell turns). If your item does not fit when it gets there, we will be glad to take it back without a charge for the return shipping cost. However, our Standard Refund and Restocking Fee Policies will apply.

Standard Refund and Restocking Fee Policies

Your refund will be processed 1 to 2 weeks after receipt of the returned item. Refunds are made in the same form as your original payment, less a restocking fee of 20 percent. This restocking fee may be credited to your purchase of a replacement item, subject to certain restrictions. See our Replacement Item Credit Policy.

How can I tell if my furniture will fit through my door and hallways?

How do I schedule my delivery?

A

Delivery is handled by a professional, third-party delivery company that services your location. Once the company has your furniture they will contact you directly to schedule a delivery day and time window.

What are your delivery charges?

A

We don’t charge extra for delivery.

If assembly is required, will the delivery company handle it?

A

In-home delivery and set-up is included with your purchase. This includes unwrapping of all furniture, placing them in your home, and removal of all packing materials. Set-up includes positioning of furniture and assembly of bed frames.

Will everything in my order be delivered together?

A

Items from the same manufacturer will arrive together, but if you’ve ordered multiple items from different manufacturers they will come separately.

What if the sofa can’t fit into my home during delivery?

A

It is your responsibility to ensure your furniture will fit before you order it. We have provided instructions on how to measure that you can read here. We will take furniture back that doesn’t fit, subject to our Standard Refund and Restocking Fee Policies.

Can I provide my own fabric?

A

Yes, you can provide your own fabric. Please contact us for quantities needed and instructions on where to send it.

Can I order different legs on my upholstered furniture?

A

Some legs may be ordered with or without casters, but otherwise the legs are as shown and cannot be changed.

Can I add piping or buttons to my upholstered furniture?

A

Piping, the corded trim on upholstery, can usually be added even if not included with the style you select. Please contact us to place your special order. Buttons or tufting cannot be added to a style if not already included.

What cushion options do I have?

A

Many of our sofa styles can be ordered with different cushion configurations for an additional $250. Different options include 3 seat cushions/3 back cushions, 2 seat cushions/2 back cushions, and a single seat cushion with 2 or 3 back cushions. Please contact us to place this special order.

I’ve noticed a problem with my furniture – now what?

A

We will work with you to resolve the issue to your satisfaction with product repair, parts replacement, or an exchange, Please contact us to discuss your issue.

What is the warranty for upholstered furniture?

A

Frames and springs are warranted against manufacturing defects for the lifetime of the product. Cushions, beds, and motion mechanisms are warranted against manufacturing defects for seven (7) years. Fabric is warranted for one (1) year against seam slippage, fraying, or dye transfer as long as the cleaning instructions provided are followed. Wearing, wrinkling, fading, and pilling are not covered. Application of a soil resistant treatment by anyone other than the manufacturer negates the warranty.

 The warranty is subject to the following limitations:

  • Warranty applies to the original owner
  • Warranty applies to normal residential use. Defects resulting from negligence or abuse and items used in a commercial or business setting are not covered.
  • Warranty applies to furniture in the original upholstered cover.

Do I need to worry about off-gassing from my upholstered furniture?

A

Off-gassing, that weird chemical smell that can accompany new furniture, is not an issue with our pieces since our manufacturers don’t use fire retardants and rely on low-VOC finishes.

How do I care for my cushions?

A

Cushions should be flipped and rotated at least weekly.

How do I care for leather?

A

Most leather can be wiped down with a damp, soft cloth. Please test an inconspicuous area first to make sure it will not leave a mark. I’m concerned about fire retardant chemicals on my furniture. Does your upholstery have fire retardant?

A

No, none of our upholstery is treated with fire retardant chemicals.

Does the wood used in my furniture come from sustainable sources?

A

Yes. All of our manufacturers use wood from sustainable forests or use reclaimed wood.

Will your bed frames work with adjustable beds?

A

Yes, our bed frames can work with adjustable beds. Since all adjustable beds are not the same, it’s best to make sure it will fit. Please measure the length and width at the largest points and contact us to confirm before ordering.

What is the warranty for wood and other non-upholstered furniture?

A

Our non-upholstered products include those made of wood, metal, glass, or stone and carry a warranty for one (1) year following the original purchase. This warranty applies to workmanship, material or construction under conditions of normal residential use. We use solid wood, leather and other natural materials and variation of color, stain, dye lot, etc. are to be expected. Chips and scratches that occur from handling or use are not the responsibility of The Stated Home. This warranty does not apply to damage from negligence or misuse, including improper cleaning, exposure to chemicals, foreign substances, liquids, sunlight, accidents, or any use for which the product was not intended. We shall, under our discretion, repair or replace items that fall under the terms of this warranty.

Are your measurements exact?

A

Solid wood furniture expands and contracts with changes in temperature and humidity. Please note that all measurements are rounded to the nearest ½ inch and can vary as much as 3/8 inch, depending on conditions.

How do I care for the upholstery fabric?

A

Use a soft brush vacuum attachment to vacuum your upholstery a couple times a month. This will remove any invisible dirt that could, over time, damage the fabric. Read our more in depth article on caring for upholstery here.

I’m allergic to down, but like the soft feel of down cushions. Do you offer a hypo-allergenic down alternative?

A

We do offer a down-alternative cushion option that is priced the same as our “softest” Haven cushion option. Please contact us to place a special order.
